Abstract

The CYTED Programme was created in 1984 through an Agreement signed by 19 Latin American countries, Spain and Portugal. We have organized inside Cyted an Iberoamerican Bioplastic Network called PRIBOP. The institutional members of this network are: • Institute of Biomedical Sciences,Microbiology Department São Paulo, Brazil • PHB Industrial S/A,Serrana, Brazil. • Department of Chemistry, Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology and Environmental Biotechnology , Valparaíso, Chile • Department of Molecular Microbiology, Biotechnology Institute, Autonomous University of Mexico, Cuernavaca, México • Department of Microbiology and Parasitology and Department of Microbiology, University of Barcelona, Spain • Environmental Biotechnology Group, Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas, CSIC, Madrid, Spain • BIOPOLIS, S.L. Valencia, Spain • Biochemical and Process Engineering Group, Dept. of Chemistry, Fac. of Science and Technology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal • Unity of Molecular Microbiology, Institute ofBiology Research Clemente Estable-.
